Reports suggest GFA may retain Otto Addo as Black Stars coach

Reports suggest that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is likely to retain Otto Addo as head coach of the Black Stars despite their failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Black Stars finished bottom of Group F in the qualifiers, failing to win any of their six matches.

Despite the disappointing performance, the GFA appears to believe that Addo is not solely responsible for the qualification failure.

As a result, he is expected to continue leading the team for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, which will resume in March 2025.
