Former Maritzburg United trainer Ronnie Kanalelo has lauded Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori and has backed him to succeed at any club.
The 26-year-old is enjoying his best season in the South African ABSA Premier League with Maritzburg United, keeping 10 clean sheets and conceding only 17 goals in 22 games.
He has been linked with a move to several clubs following his mouthwatering performances for his side with Orlando Pirates and Belgian outfit Gent ready to sign him in the summer.
"Richie is an excellent goalkeeper who can make his mark at any club he moves to," Kanalelo told Soccer Laduma.
"Richie is a fantastic human being. He is a very good goalkeeper as well. I mean, he works… he really works to get to the top. It was a really good experience working with him. He is very much disciplined, and like I say, he’s a very good human being," he added.
Richard Ofori has been nominated for the 2019/20 South Africa Premier League Best Player of the season as well as Best Goalkeeper of the season.
