Rose Yeboah of Ghana won gold in the women's high jump at the CAA Seniors Championships in Douala, clearing 1.87 meters to defend her title.
Her athletic journey started five years ago with notable wins at the U-20 African Juniors and All-Africa University Games.
In 2019, she clinched gold at the African Games and continued her success at the African Seniors Athletics Championships in 2021. Setting a national record of 1.94 meters in 2023, she qualified for the World Athletics Championships and secured another gold at the African Games.
Yeboah's exceptional year continued as she qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics and secured her second gold in Douala.
