John Paintsil has spoken fondly about how the Ghana Football Association was described by former English Premier League campaigners, Fulham FC, as highly professional during his playing days for the club.
The Maritzburg United defender, who spoke about his experience in playing in the English Premier League, said the GFA always made him feel proud with regards to the way they handled correspondence with his former club.
“When I was playing for Fulham, I always felt proud with the comments of my manager about the Ghana FA. Roy Hodgson used to laud the GFA for their professionalism and that always made me happy”, John Paintsil said in an interview with Sportscrusader.com
“He always said that the GFA would send invitation to me two weeks before I leave England and as soon as the national assignment is over, they make sure I join Fulham and that was highly professional”, John added.
