Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom says he has garnered the requisite experience to bolster DC United after playing in Europe club competitions and at the FIFA World Cup finals.
Inkoom played with Swiss side FC Basel in the UEFA Champions and Europa League.
He was featured in three matches at the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa but was an unused substitute at this year’s finals in Brazil.
The versatile player says he feels very confident anytime he steps on the pitch and ready for every challenge.
“I think it is a dream for every player to play in the World Cup. It is the highest level in football, and I think also that you need to show the whole world that this is you. This is Inkoom,” Inkoom told the club’s official website.
“I was so happy that at the age of 25, I’ve already played in two World Cups. It’s not easy playing in the Champions League or Europa League. I have a lot of experience to help D.C. United as well.”
