One of Ghana’s longest-serving football club Administrators, Mr. Kofi Manu who is affectionately called “blue boy”, has revealed that several clubs in the Ghanaian top-flight league are chasing him for his services in other to tap into his many years of knowledge in the local football administration.
Thought he was mum in giving public knowledge of the clubs that are after his signature, but admitted amongst these clubs are one of the glamorous clubs in the Country.
Speaking on Kingdom FM “All Sports” show with “JAY JAY”, the tough-talking football administrator made known his rich experience in football administration and his willingness to continue on that legacy since he is now “unattached”.
In a quick reaction on reports linking him to Ashgold, which also mentioned he has signed with the Obuasi based club, he refutes such reports, saying in these COVID-19 stricken times, it is unsafe to travel outside of once jurisdiction.
“I won’t want to travel outside of my jurisdiction, and once that is not happening now I DON’T SEE THE REASON ONE WILL SAY I HAVE SIGNED WITH Ashgold”, he added.
Kofi Manu “blue boy”, has been very critical of Kurt Okraku’s led GFA administration.
