Stars of Lake Side crowned champions of Kozie Cares Champions League

Stars of Lake Side won the Kozie Cares Champions League on November 17, 2024, defeating Mambass FC 1-0 in the final at Agiringanor Astro Turf.

The competition, organized by Akosua Asaa Manu (Kozie), NPP’s parliamentary candidate for Adentan, aimed to unearth soccer talents and promote peace ahead of the 2024 elections.

Kozie emphasized the importance of peace and unity during elections, and expressed plans to make the event an annual tradition if elected. The three-month event, which drew large crowds, featured a performance by Shatta Wale and saw Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu scouting talent.

The competition involved 16 teams, with Lake Side taking home the trophy and a cash prize. Kozie plans to continue this initiative to create opportunities for youth in Adentan.
