Former Ghana Football Association Chairman, Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe is suggesting that the Zylofon Cash Premier League should be suspended following the latest exposé by Anas Aremeyaw Anas on football corruption.
According to Nyaho Tamakloe, the Premier League has lost its credibility following what was revealed from the exposé premiered on 6th June 2018.
The Board Member of Hearts of Oak says the referees caught in the exposé gives much relevance as to why the league needs to be suspended as he believes that will aid in the restructuring of football in Ghana.
“The league we are playing now must be totally suspended. It has no credibility whatsoever. If you have about 60 referees who were aught openly taking bribe to influence games, the league must be suspended,” Tamakloe told Nhyira FM in Kumasi.
Currently, the government has issued a communique that it is seeking guidance advice from FIFA to possibly dissolve the FA which will affect all football activities in the country.
