It is being reported that Swansea City are ready to pay £18million to sign Andre Ayew from West Ham United before Wednesday's transfer deadline.
The Telegraph report that, after failing with a £14 million bid, the Swans will now return with an improved offer.
Ayew, 28, signed for Swansea from Marseille back in the summer of 2015, and earned a move to West Ham just a year later after hitting 12 goals in 34 games for the Swans.
The Ghanaian was seen as a major signing for West Ham, but he scored just six times last season, and with only nine Premier League starts this season, he has recorded just two Premier League goals this term.
