Asante Kotoko defender, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has picked Brazil and PSG center-back Thiago Silva as his role model.
The Ghanaian center-back joined the Porcupine Warriors in 2018 from Division One League side Phar Rangers and has since become a key member of the team.
Agyemang Badu opened up on his admiration for the playing style of Thiago Silva and indicated that he looks up to the Brazilian in an interview with Kumasi based Light FM.
“My style of play is that of Thiago Silva of PSG. His calmness and ball retention are what I have inculcated.
“The modern-day coaches like ball-playing defenders that’s why I am keeping glued it. It is really helping me a lot”, the defender said.
Badu has been key for Asante Kotoko this season and he made 12 appearances in the Ghana Premier League before the season was suspended because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
