Out-of-contract midfielder Thomas Abbey is set to make a return to Accra Hearts of Oak ahead of the new season.
It is believed that the midfield enforcer has held talks with the officials of the club over his return next month.
The 2017 WAFU gold medalist had a two-week trial with South African giants Ajax Cape Town last month but failed to land a deal.
He was also linked with a move to two American top-flight sides, New England Revolution and Minnesota United.
Hearts of Oak will resume their preseason exercise for the upcoming season on January 3rd, 2018.
