With Partey's contract expiring this summer, Arteta expressed trust in the former Atletico Madrid player's contributions. "What we needed was for Thomas to reach the level we expect," Arteta stated to the media on Friday.
"He’s putting in the effort and excelling in different roles, meeting various challenges effectively."
Arteta also mentioned that talks about Partey’s future with the club are on the horizon, recognizing the midfielder's impressive form and vital importance to the team.
"He’s a key player for us," Arteta remarked, adding, "He’s in a great position, and we’ll be having these discussions about his future with Arsenal soon."
