Tagoe highlighted that persistent issues with officiating have led to a decrease in fan enjoyment of the league. He urged GFA officials to ensure that any financial support from FIFA for the VAR project is utilized effectively.
He stated, "The VAR is a positive development, as constant complaints about officiating make the league less enjoyable. I am confident that adopting VAR will address officiating concerns related to goals, fouls, and offsides," during an interview on Angel TV.
Tagoe expressed optimism regarding the GFA's discussions with FIFA, stressing the need for responsible use of the funds to enhance the league's quality and attractiveness.
He concluded by urging GFA officials to seize this opportunity to revitalize the league.
