France-based defender, Alexander Djiku is happy that the Black Stars made a 'good start' in their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Djiku was impressive as Black Stars defeated Ethiopia in their first match of the qualifiers on Friday evening.
The Strasbourg centre-back lasted the entire duration of the game and formed a solid partnership with Leicester City defender, Daniel Amartey at the back as the Black Stars kept a clean sheet against the East Africans.
After the match, Djiku took to his social media to celebrate, posting "good start in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers" on Twitter.
He revealed his inclusion in the squad for the South Africa clash in Johannesburg.
