Kenya national team skipper Victor Wanyama is hoping his team gets an excellent results against Ghana in the 2019 AFCON qualifier on Saturday.
Both teams have already booked their ticket for the 2019 AFCON in Egypt already but the Tottenham Hotspur enforcer stressed the game is important to them as it serves as one of their preparation games ahead of the June tournament.
“Ghana is a good team and it will be a great challenge for us. We want to get a positive result; that will be a perfect build-up for us ahead of the tournament. In short, we want good result,” Wanyama told Goal Kenya
“We also want to beat Ghana and finish as the winners of the group. We beat them at home and I know we can beat them away. We have a good squad and I am confident that we will manage a double over them.”
Wanyama missed the first leg in Nairobi through injury as his side won by a lone goal to nothing.
