In a Match Week 3 fixture of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season, Accra Hearts of Oak put up an impressive performance that earned them a 2-1 win over Ebusua Dwarfs.
The Accra-based side and the Cape Coast team both went into the match on the back of two successive defeats in the previous two matches of the Ghanaian top-flight.
At the end of the match at the Accra Sports Stadium, the Phobians impressed throughout the 90 minutes and scored two goals to deservedly bag a first win of the campaign.
A 29th minutes strike from Joseph Esso from a free-kick handed the home team a win to take into the first half break. In the second half, striker Kofi Kordzi also converted from a similar dead ball situation to give Hearts a two-goal cushion.
Later in the match, substitute Albert Ato Hammond netted a consolation for the away team to reduce the deficit. It was however not enough as the Rainbow lads secured their first win.
