This followed a viral video showing a group praying in the complex, sparking concerns about poor maintenance.
Majeed explained that the facility was approved for a leadership talk by the Deputy Sports Minister but was misused for a church program.
The University of Ghana's SRC publicly apologized to the Muslim community involved.
Majeed emphasized that requests for church services at the complex are consistently denied.
