Oliver Barker-Vormawor, convener of Democracy Hub, has revealed that the group has petitioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for an apology and the release of Ralph St. Williams, also known as 'Fellow Ghanaians.'
Williams was arrested at Kotoka International Airport, though no official explanation has been given.
The group suspects the arrest is to prevent their upcoming protest against illegal mining.
Barker-Vormawor also explained that Williams was allegedly seen removing a political poster of NPP's Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to allow demonstrators access to the National Cathedral site.
