Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Henry Asante Twum has stated emphatically that the (GFA) will benefit from the FIFA financial support on any day should the world football governing body decide to do so amid coronavirus crisis.
Veteran football administrator Kofi Manu ‘Blue Boy’ during the week in retrospect said he is not sure the Ghana FA can get their share of the FIFA coronavirus financial support to its members as he believes the FA’s audited account is not in a good state.
But Henry Asante Twum in an interview with Peace FM downplayed such assertions and has called on Ghanaians and football loving fans to be calm.
“We should all exercise patience, there is no cause for haram. I believe that if FIFA on any day decides to disburse money to its members as Convid-19 support, we will get our share because we’ve put things in order” he said.
