Liverpool is easily one of the best sides in European football right now but still, Thomas Teye Partey is not too enthusiastic about joining the Anfield outfit in the summer.
And maybe it’s because of the high competition in the midfield area.
Jurgen Klopp has players like Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabinho and Naby Keita who all do the same job as the 26-year-old meaning there’s no way Thomas will slide right into the first XI.
At Arsenal, the midfielder is much more confident about getting more starts since players like Granit Xhaka and Matteo Guendouzi have been really mediocre this season.
Mikel Arteta is clearly not a fan of guys like Gunedouzi and Torreira meaning if Thomas Teye Partey was to choose Arsenal over Liverpool, he will undoubtedly get a royal treatment.
But, at the same time, if the Atletico man moves to the Emirates this summer, he will have to settle for Europa League football, at least for the 2020-21 season.
The Ghanian international has a release clause of around £45million which makes him an even more lucrative signing for the North London club.
Premier League side Arsenal are now the favourites to sign midfielder Partey from Atletico Madrid, according to a report by The Telegraph.
