Aduana Stars FC head coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin is worried that his top striker Yahaya Mohammed may lose his goalscoring form by the time football returns.
The former Amidaus Professionals and Asante Kotoko striker was in top form in the halted season after scoring 11 goals in 15 matches to climb second on the top scorer's chart.
His splendid performances saw him rewarded with a call-up to the Black Stars for the first time in over 10 years.
With the Coronavirus leading to the suspension of all football activities and most players training on their own, Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has spoken on his fears that Yahaya Mohammed will struggle to maintain his form.
“What matters is definitely, I think his level will drop because the training programs he was undergoing in terms of goal scoring, I don’t think he can run it now, "He told Happy FM in an interview.
“He might try it on his own but it won’t be that effective.
“So if we start the league again, he will take time to reach his peak levels, I expect there to be a drop but it will rise again,” he concluded.
