Ashantigold defender Mubarik Yussif has revealed Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed is the toughest he has face in the Ghana Premier League after match day 15.
Yahaya Mohammed has been impressive so far this season in the Premier League for Aduana Stars; scoring 11 goals in 15 games.
Despite been able to prevent Yahaya Mohammed from scoring against his side, the Ashantigold defender revealed facing the former Kotoko and Amidaus Professionals striker was the toughest for him.
” All the strikers are tough and difficult to play against. I didn’t find it easy against all of them.
“But stopping Yahaya Mohammed was the difficult of all. He is strong in the air and very quick foot. I remember he was so determined to score a goal because Adebayor has already scored. So on that day he was very determined. But I made sure I will not give him any space.”
Ashantigold on that day defended very well and made sure they leave Dormaa with a point.
The Ghana Premier League is currently on break owing to the Corona Virus outbreak in the country.
