Dwight Yorke, the former striker for Manchester United and Trinidad and Tobago, has been named the head coach of his national team.
At 52 years old, Yorke earned 72 caps for Trinidad and Tobago from 1989 to 2009, netting 19 goals and serving as captain during the 2006 World Cup.
After retiring in 2009, he took on the role of assistant manager for his country.
This marks Yorke's second managerial position, following his tenure with the Australian A-League team Macarthur in the 2022-23 season.
