Egyptian giants Zamalek have reached a $600,000 settlement with Ghanaian forward Benjamin Acheampong, effectively ending the long-standing dispute.
The dispute, which developed in 2017 due to unpaid salaries, resulted in a $1.2 million debt owed by the club to Acheampong following a ruling from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
However, the club has found a way to reach an official settlement with the player which amounts to $600,000. No other issues are expected to arise from the situation.
The 30-year-old who has played for Wa All Stars and Asante Kotoko previously, now plays for Egyptian side Al Dakhlia.
