Music producer Spiky wins $250,000 damages in copyright case against CAF

In Accra, Commercial Court 7 ruled on a copyright dispute between music producer Spiky and the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

CAF was found guilty of using Spiky's music without permission for the 2018 CAF awards, awarding damages of USD250,000 and legal costs.

Spiky criticized CAF's disrespect for his intellectual property rights.
