Born Samuel Bentum, a Takoradi born youth, life in recent times is full of surprises as “we chat, eat, dance, drink, help, tease and jolly with family and friends; in few days, weeks, months or years later we hear and see them no more.”
According to him, “1 day born, 1 day die’ is a song that is all about life, we are born into this world one day and it takes a day after either accomplishing or not our mission on this earth to die; you see your family and friends walk about looking all healthy and jollying with joy and happiness and you hear they are no more.”
“They just vanish without alerting you, you only see their lifeless bodies; one is born full of life and enthusiasm, and after the impact you make on people be it negative or positive yet your missing out of the world have a huge impact on your loved ones,” he said.
The close to Sean Paul’s ‘Gimme the light’ rhythm song features Vodafone Icon, Street Edition contestants and brother of Kwaw Kese, Buda aka Abodam Double.
Young Cash joined the music scene early last and has always had that interesting choice of song titles including ‘Mr. Otua, Mr. Odi’ Featuring Stay Jay, ‘Don’t go Dere’ featuring Keche, the recent released ‘1day born, 1 day die’ featuring Buda working on another song titled ‘Dance’ which features Old Soulja.
