Richard Jakpa, the third accused in the ongoing ambulance trial, has petitioned the Chief Justice, alleging unfair treatment and violation of his basic human rights during the proceedings.
Speaking to JoyNews, Jakpa claimed the judge has shown bias, denied him legal representation, and mistreated him in court.
He also accused Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame of prosecuting the Minority Leader, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, for political reasons, alleging a plot to silence Forson due to his opposition to government policies like the E-levy.
Deputy Attorney General Alfred Tuah Yeboah dismissed Jakpa’s claims, defending Dame’s professional integrity.
