5 types of people you will definitely meet in the KNUST library

The Prempeh II library is a great place to frequent as a student.

This is because it provides an avenue for all the different kinds of students in the university to co-exist.

As an avid visitor of the library ourselves, we’ve noticed that you’ll certainly meet these kinds of people at the library.

1. The Observers

If you’re a shy person, you’ll definitely need a Beta-blocker because these people can send you into an arrhythmic state, lmao. But for the courageous ones, trust us, you’ll feel like a great celebrity! They normally sit in the conspicuous areas and are virtually looking around for anything like a hunter looking for its prey. Only God knows what they want to see.

2. The sleeping tycoons.

These ones come to the library looking very promising. I’m sure their roomies and friends will know them as learning addicts, but trust us “nothing give them”! They usually come along with huge pamphlets, laptops and all the necessary learning materials. Within 30 minutes of sitting, you’ll see them closing their eyes and struggling with Morpheus. Usually, they give up and fall asleep. Charley, we figured out that it seems they love the AC compared to the fans in their rooms. If you haven’t ever laughed in the day, trust us, these ones will definitely do the magic of making your day blissful.

3. The wifi raiders

These group of people are undoubtedly smart but they are great procrastinators too. To them, they need to prevent wastage of their fees by utilizing the wifi to the last drop. Haha! One intriguing thing is how they’re able to identify the strong wifi-zones in the library. You’ll definitely see them in a relaxed manner charging their phones and Pcs and watching Netflix movies or streaming thrilling videos. To them, the library offers a serene place for relaxing after all “life is too short to worry our heads too much”.

4. The fashion geng

This squad almost escaped me but these are another interesting group you’ll certainly catch in the library. To them, the library is an avenue for showcasing their fashion brands. We ain’t saying don’t dress but Charley some of them go overboard and others also fail tremendously in impressing with their styles.

5. The studious students

These students are the serious ones. They mostly have favourite spots in the library. To them, the library is nothing short of a second home. They spend virtually every time outside class in the library racking their brains and studying their books. Most of them are actually very smart students, but some too, “nothing give them”. They are purpose-driven and zealous. Let’s all aspire to emulate their positive attitude towards academic work. The only thing is that these students miss out on is some fun aspects of campus life.
