Actress Hilda Dokubo suspended from political party over alleged financial misconduct

Nigerian actress-turned-politician Hilda Dokubo has been suspended from the Labour Party in Rivers State due to alleged financial misconduct and other violations.

The suspension, decided by the party's ward executive committee, follows a detailed investigation into the allegations.

Dokubo, also the party’s chairperson in Rivers State, had previously contested for a federal seat in 2022.
