Ghanaian musician Okyeame Kwame revealed he declined an offer to be the running mate of John Alan Kyerematen, Presidential Candidate of Movement for Change.
Despite meeting Alan's criteria—education, career, social media influence, and development work—he cited unpreparedness, family considerations, and potential political challenges as reasons for his decision.
He emphasized the need to align with his family’s plans and maintain consistency as a role model for his children.
Alan Kyerematen eventually selected Kwame Owusu Danso, a lawyer and PR consultant, as his running mate.
Okyeame, known for advocacy in health, education, and environmental preservation, continues to champion Ghanaian culture and recently released "Stop Galamsey," addressing illegal mining.
