Dancehall Artiste, Shatta Wale has warned that with the level of hardship Ghanaians are currently facing under the Akufo-Addo led government, there may be an increase in armed robbery.
According to him, he has had several complaints that suggest that things are not going on as promised by the then-candidate Akufo-Addo in 2016.
He noted that people are losing their jobs whiles others cannot provide themselves with a three square meal and therefore will have to resort to armed robbery if things deteriorate.
He used the opportunity to talk to people close to the President to advise him to work at ensuring that the Ghanaian is well positioned in order to feed himself and family.
He said “I will take this opportunity to beg the President because Ghanaians are suffering too much, the complaint I’m hearing if anybody knows anybody close to the President although I know the President personally I say these things on air so that he will get to know that I also have the country at heart. The hardship in the country is too much and that can lead to an increase in armed robbery and other things”.
