Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra was electrified with performances from veteran highlife musician Ben Brako where the 16th edition of the Ghana Club 100 awards was held.
The event which started exactly at 8pm ended around 11pm on Thursday.
Clad in white with a touch of Kente, Ben Brako performed hit song (Etui) attracting some patrons to sing along while others danced to it.
Ben Brako’s first recording was released in 1985, but his second album, Baya, made him very popular.
While in secondary school Ben Brako took his talent further by joining the school’s band but it became obvious that his involvement in music was going to interfere with his academic work as the band had to rehearse for the numerous performances they were always billed for.
