Blakk Cedi hasn’t done anything for me as my agent – Stonebwoy

Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has revealed his former manager Blakk Cedi has not done anything for him since the latter was announced as his agent.

He made this known during a press conference at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra Friday.

According to the ‘Tuff Seed’ hit singer, he currently does not have a working relationship with his former manager.

Stonebwoy, after weeks of speculations, revealed in September last year that his longtime friend and working partner was no longer his manager.

It was within that period that he announced that Blakk Cedi had been made the agent instead.

He explained that the decision was part of structural amendments that were made at his Burniton Music Group label.

The relationship between Stonebwoy and Blakk Cedi took a turn for the worse after the dancehall artiste unfollowed his then protégé, Kelvyn Boy on Instagram. many questions have been asked about happenings in the BHIM Nation camp.

The BHIM team have for some time had disagreements pertaining to the management of artistes on the label, particularly Kelvyn Boy. After the exit of Blakk Cedi, Kelvyn Boy and Ovi also left the label.

Stonebwoy reacting to his relationship with Blakk Cedi in an interview last year said, “In every organisation, there are ups and downs…every team has things they deal with.”

“There have been structural amendments at Burniton Music Group and therefore, going forward, Blakk Cedi is now my agent. He is not my manager but he is more than a manager now,” he added.

But the two had to part ways just months after Blakk Cedi was announced as the manager of Stonebwoy.
