A member of the music group Buk-Bak, Bright is tipping highlife musician Kuami Eugene to be crowned Artiste of the Year at the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
Bright who was speaking on TV3 New Day expressed his admiration for the young musician and strides he has made so far in the music industry.
“I see him as a young version of me. He is smart, he is adventurous, and he treads crazy terrains to actually bring songs together. I think he is blessed enough to win this,” he said.
There have been a lot of campaigns on social media platforms for the ‘Wish me well’ singer to be adjudged Artiste of the Year, and Bright is certainly in support of that call. Kuami Eugene has had a good musical year with a lot of releases, as well as performances on all major shows in Ghana and outside the country.
He is competing with King Promise, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Joe Mettle for the ultimate title this year.
