Artiste and Repertoire Manager at Zylofon Media, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson known in showbiz as Bulldog has alleged that one Chief Abiola is threatening to kill him.
According to him, he got a call from the said Chief Abiola and he threatened to take his life.
“For me, I don’t receive those calls so when the person was speaking, I was just listening,” he said.
“He will bring people, herh, you, we go see Adabraka, Nima I dey der…you, I know you, I have your passport details, ebi me do some passport…..” Bulldog recounted some of Chief Abiola’s statements.
Bulldog after realising that Chief Abiola had helped him before when he wanted to travel to South Africa, he called him to let him know that they don’t have any problem but he (Chief Abiola) was still going on with his threats.
He said he didn’t take the threats seriously until the communications manager of Zylofon Media, Samuel Atuobi Baah popularly known as Sammy Flex and his wife advised him to report to the police.
Bulldog believes that Chief Abiola after the incidence at Champs Bar has dedicated all his resources, time and attention to him.
Over the weekend it was reported that the Dancehall musician Stonebwoy and Zylofon's artist manager, Bulldog, got engaged in an altercation on Saturday night at the Champs Bar in Accra which ended in gunshots being fired.
Sections of the media have reported that after the signing of dancehall ‘king’ Shatta Wale unto the Zylofon media record label, there has been some tension between him (Shatta Wale) and his music ‘rival’ Stonebwoy.
Bulldog, however, debunked those suggestions in an interview Monday morning on Zylofon FM saying no thugs accompanied him and his Zylofon team to Champs Bar.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah has apologised to Stonebwoys team for the incidence that occurred over the weekend.
In a tweet Tuesday morning the CEO wrote “I apologize to team @stonebwoyb and all well wishers for the unfortunate ill incident that occurred. The transport manager exercised a discretion characterized by reflex and over exuberance. An act I vehemently condemn and discourage from our society.”
