Actress Yvonne Nelson has reminded Ghanaians that the Politicians in this country are selfish people who care about what they will earn at the end of the day on not the plight of the vulnerable in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
All politicians during this season where love and care are needed are busy distributing food and other items for the populace with some branding the items with their posters anticipating a windfall during polls.
The way and manner the food is being distributed is cause for worry since every politician wants to make mincemeat out of the situation.
Yvonne Nelson says these things sadden her heart and leaves her with no hope for Africa.
The actress who spoke in a tweet said: “Political division in times like this!! Well, there you have it. They really don't CARE about the PEOPLE. they are all trying to WIN some POINTS”.
Ghana’s current case count stands at 641 as of with the death toll at 8. Experts have said with the enhanced contact tracing currently been carried out by health professionals, there is the likelihood that the figures are going to see a spike.
