Pubs and nightclubs face uncertain future amidst restrictions on large gatherings.
Well patronised pubs and nightclubs including Bloombar, Twist and the Cockpit Bar & Lounge have all been shutdown as a measure against the spread of COVID-19.
So far, Ghana has confirmed 11 cases of COVID-19 and as part of cautionary measures, President Akufo-Addo, on Sunday, announced the closure of schools and universities and also the ban on public gatherings.
Already, many institutions have responded to the president’s call with churches suspending church services and other activities like weddings and Easter conventions.
