Davido breaks record for most-watched TikTok live stream in Africa

Nigerian artist Davido broke the African TikTok live-stream record with 389,800 viewers on October 30, surpassing previous records.

Co-hosted with influencers, the stream saw 164,000 simultaneous viewers and $153,000 in fan gifts, which Davido pledged to share.

The event precedes his new release, “Awuke.”
