Desmond Elliot celebrates one year as a lawmaker

A year in office as a lawmaker has flown by for ace Nollywood actor, Desmond Elliot.

The actor got sworn into office as a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly on the platform of the ruling party.

He represents the Surulere 1 constituency – a position he called a privilege and promises never to take for granted.

In celebration of the day, Elliot donned a buba and sokoto and the iconic ‘Abeti Aja’ cap as he posed with several traditional and political personalities.

One year as a lawmaker... Another great opportunity to say 'Thank you Lord' for this great opportunity to serve in this great state Lagos,these wonderful people of the state and good people of Surulere. I will never take it for granted ,for this is a Privilege and I say Thank you lord over and over again. It hasn't been easy but IT IS WELL
