Kumawood star actress, Emelia Brobbey for the past years has been embarking on a philanthropic exercise to help the needy in the society.
Last year, the silver screen goddess was at the Osu Children’s Home in Accra to put smiles on the faces of the kids. The actress cum movie producer during her visit also donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to the home.
This year, she gathers all the big names in the Kumawood movie industry at the Golden Tulip Hotel on Sunday, May 15 for a charity musical concert dubbed “SAVE THE ORPHAN”.
Stars expected to perform at he charity event are Kojo Nkansah Liwin, Akrobeto, Bro Sammy, Vivian Jill, Kwaku Manu, Benedicta Gaffah, Christiana Awuni, Angel Lawrence, Oware Junior and many others.
Zionfelix.com is reliably informed that the Sunday event is to help raise funds to complete the classroom blocks at Cherubs Orphanage Home at Apire in Kumasi. Prior to the concert, Emelia Brobbey has collaborated with gospel musician Brother Sammy on a song titled “Kae Yen”.
The song, according to the actress is dedicated to all children whose parents are dead.
