Ghanaian Reverend, Rev. Abronomaa, criticized gospel musicians Empress Gifty and Obaapa Christy for their appearance, claiming they are negatively influencing the genre.

In a viral video, he stated that as gospel artists, they should set a good example for young people but instead are promoting inappropriate fashion choices.

He emphasized that their behavior contrasts with that of veteran gospel musicians who paved the way for them.

Rev. Abronomaa expressed concern that younger gospel artists, like Odehyieba Priscilla, are now imitating these negative trends, which he believes harms the integrity of Ghanaian gospel music.
