Ruff Town Records artiste, Wendy Shay has described the ongoing ‘beef’ between female artistes as Women Empowerment.
According to her, colleagues who are throwing jabs at each other through rap music is an indication that women are fighting for their place in the male dominated industry.
To Wendy Shay, it’s a showcase of talent which needs to be supported by all females in the music industry.
Wendy Shay was of the view that female musicians are now waking up from their slumber.
“She said, “U call it beef, I call it women empowerment..all I see is women showcasing their talent ..female artists are gradually waking up”.
The dormant music industry seems to be receiving some revival with some ‘beef’ between female rappers including Eno, Freda Rhymes and Singer turned Rapper, Sista Afia.
