Actress Yvonne Nelson has described reports on her interview with Yvonne Okoro as “Foolish Journalism” stating that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) does not even know she exists, MyNewsGh.com has filed.
The actress who made an appearance on Yvonne Okoro’s Dining with Cooks and Braggarts mentioned that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) does not care about her when she was asked if she is a member of the political party.
She further mentioned that she did not organize the “Dumsor Must Stop” procession because she was paid by the NPP but because she believed something should be done to push the government at the time to solve the issue.
However, reports emanating from the interview gave the impression that she mentioned that she has been neglected by the party since it clinched power from the NDC.
Reacting to the various reports, Yvonne in a tweet described the practice of Journalism as “Foooooolish journalism! Okoro asked if I was NPP, my reply was simple, I don’t think they even care about me, I don’t think they know I exist! Now, watch the full interview tomorrow”.
