Actress Lydia Forson has asked Ghanaians whose monies are locked up with gold trading hub, MenzGold to forget they ever invested money in the company because it is not possible they could recoup their investments, MyNewsGh.com has reported.
MenzGold, a Gold Dealership company in Ghana is currently going through difficult times.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organization, Nana Appiah Mensah also has been arrested in Dubai in relation to a different matter. Although a delegation from Ghana visited him and were expected to extradite him to Ghana to face charges of allegedly defrauding by false pretenses, they came back without the most wanted man further infuriating the stranded customers.
Reacting to the news of the inability of Ghana’s delegation to bring NAM 1, Lydia Forson mentioned that clearly, NAM 1 will walk a free man and that people who invested in the failed venture should forget they ever invested in MenzGold.
She said “This guy is chilling somewhere drinking pina colada’s. He won’t face trial. You won’t get your money either. You all got played”.
