GWR: Ghanaian nurse embarks on sing-a-thon [Video]

Ghanaian psychiatric nurse Juliet Kwakye aims to break the Guinness World Record for the longest singing session, surpassing India's 105-hour record.

Starting June 7, she plans to sing continuously until June 11, 2024, aiming for 120 hours.

Currently over 60 hours in, the attempt is happening at the Methodist Conference Centre in Akyem Oda, Ghana.

Inspired by Afua Asantewaa's dream, Juliet seeks to sing for an additional 15 hours beyond the current record.

Asantewaa, who previously attempted the record, supports Juliet's endeavor wholeheartedly, emphasizing endurance.

The nation rallies behind Juliet as she aims for international recognition and a new milestone for Ghana.
