Actress Lydia Forson has pleaded with Ghanaians to go easy on Caleb Ekuban who missed a penalty against Tunisia on Monday night.
Ekuban Caleb a left-footed player decided to kick his penalty with his unusual right foot which got saved by the Tunisian goalkeeper.
He was the only player to have lost his penalty kick on the night Ghana played against Tunisia.
Some Ghanaians on social media are hailing him for contributing to the loss of the Black Stars whiles others are raining insults on him.
But the actress, Lydia Forson believes that they should handle him with the needed respect and care for even world best players lose during penalties.
Her tweet reads “Y’all should really go easy on #ekuban so many great players have missed penalties. It hurts, it really does but he’s human and this is one of the worst things that can happen to any player. Be nice”.
