Ardent viewers of New Day on TV would have noticed an odd exception among the presenters of the morning show. Newscaster Bridget Otoo has been conspicuously missing in action and the reason for this has been revealed.
Ameyawdebrah.com reports that the broadcaster has been taken off the show over disciplinary issues. Apparently, many complaints have been lodged against Ms. Otoo to the management of TV3 regarding her behaviour on and off set, from guests and colleagues alike.
It has also been reported that her relationship with co-host Moon Sangmoor was quite strained and their rivalry was obvious on-screen during the live show.
Ms. Otoo’s suspension is certain, but the date for her return to the show – if that will even happen – is still very much unknown.
Bridget Otoo has been working with TV3 for quite some time now and was the former presenter of popular security watch show, You and the Police. She holds a degree in Communication Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism in Accra and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Entrepreneurial Management at the University of Ghana, Legon.
