Dancehall artiste and Zylofon Music signee, Shatta Wale has dashed the hopes of NAM1 signing Sarkodie after publicly attacking the hiplife icon on air and social media.
Nana Appiah Mensah has reportedly been trying to convince Sarkodie for a while now to join his music label, Zylofon Music, but without much success.
Sarkodie according to information available to Asembi.com, Sarkodie has not given NAM1 any clear answer as to whether he will join Zylofon or not, a reason why Sarkodie could not directly answer Andy Dosty’s question on Hitz FM when asked if he will ever join Zylofon.
However Shatta Wale’s recent attacks on the rap ‘architect’ is most likely to dissuade him from joining the label on which Shatta Wale is also on, a big blow to Nana Appiah Mensah who dreams of bringing the the A-list artistes under one umbrella.
It is not known if NAM1 has contacted Sarkodie to apologise on behalf of his artist in order to still keep his hopes of him alive, but what is clear now is that Shatta Wale’s unprovoked attack on Sarkodie has almost killed NAM1’s hopes and rendered his months of work and persuasion almost useless.
