I am not campaigning for the NDC because of political appointment – Rex Omar

Veteran Highlife artist Rex Omar, also Chairman of GHAMRO, clarified his stance on political appointments if John Mahama wins, denying initial claims but stating his entry into politics is to support the creative economy.

Affiliated with the NDC, he's protested against the current government but insists his support for Mahama aims at fostering a conducive business environment.

Highlighting benefits of a structured creative economy, Rex Omar, while not actively pursuing a political role, expressed readiness to serve if deemed fit.

He sits on the NDC manifesto committee focusing on culture and creative industries.
