Daughter of late highlife legend, Daasebre Dwamena has said her father’s showmanship will remain fresh in her memory.
Serwa said it came as a shock to her hearing the news of her father’s death on radio Friday morning.
“When I heard that he had died, I was shocked because I didn’t know he was ill.
“So I called home and they said I should come join the family in this gathering where we are all trying to process the information,” she told Kojo Ansah, a journalist in the Eastern Region.
According to her, she remembered him as an artiste who was committed to family.
“My father was a good man and I will miss him. He always came around when we had family gathering and he would perform all the time. I will remember him for his performances especially. Those will remain fresh in my memory.”
The musician died in the early hours of Friday July 29, 2016.
